Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your account in YNTA — Personal Trainer App, published by Abay Kaldybayev, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.
Delete it yourself, in the app
The fastest route. Deletion starts immediately and needs no reply from us.
- 1Open YNTA and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- 2Open the Profile tab, then Settings.
- 3If you train on your own: open Edit Profile. If you are a trainer: open Edit. If you train with a coach: stay on the Settings screen.
- 4Tap Delete Account, at the bottom of the screen.
- 5Confirm. Your account and the data listed below are removed straight away, and you are signed out.
Or ask us to delete it
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email us from the address on the account.
Put “Account deletion request” in the subject line. We reply within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm from the account’s email address — that is the only way we can be sure the request is really yours.
What gets deleted
Permanently, and with no way to restore it afterwards:
- Account details — name, email address, phone number, profile photo, username
- Workout history — logged workouts, sets, reps, weights, personal records, streaks
- Body data — weight history, body measurements, progress photos
- Health information — health conditions, medical test entries, PAR-Q intake forms
- Nutrition — meal logs, food entries, water intake, nutrition templates and goals
- Coaching data — your trainer–client relationships, scheduled and live sessions, session feedback
- Messages — conversations, voice messages and attachments
- Payments recorded in the app — transactions and balances logged by your trainer
- Devices — push notification tokens, so notifications stop immediately
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase receipts held by Apple and Google
We never receive or store your card details. Subscription receipts live with the App Store or Google Play, and only they can remove them. Cancel the subscription in your store account.
- Anonymised, non-identifying usage counts
Aggregate figures such as “how many workouts were logged this month” carry no link back to you and are not deleted.
- Records we are legally required to keep
Where accounting or tax law in Kazakhstan requires a record to be retained, we keep only that record, for only as long as the law requires.
If you train clients through YNTA
Deleting a trainer account also removes that trainer’s programs, schedule, group classes and public trainer page. Their clients keep their own accounts and their own workout history — a client’s data belongs to the client, not to the trainer. The link between them is removed, and each client is told that the connection has ended.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your YNTA account does not cancel a paid subscription. Billing is handled by the App Store or Google Play, and only you can stop it there:
- iPhone or iPad — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → YNTA → Cancel Subscription
- Android — Google Play → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → YNTA → Cancel
